Prom Panic - Commentary

Warning: There are pictures in here that are probably(?) NSFW. I mean, it's not porn or nudity but you don't wanna get caught viewing them.

A lot of wild things happened at prom so I decided to make a game loosely off that. What is fictional and what isn't? Let's see!

1) Spiked punch with mutagens 
I only ever heard of punch being spiked at proms in media - never witnessed this in person. My impression of "spiking" was people putting psychedelics in the punch so I thought why not some love potion instead? It was only later I discovered that the act of spiking punch meant putting alcohol. LOL. Anyway, I decided to put a love (or I guess lust in this case) potion as means to make people go into a frenzy. Of course, Ashrav is a top target - after all, potion or not plenty of people thirst after him. It doesn't work on CJ because he's a pervert and already lusts openly, making no difference. It also wouldn't work on Anderson for the same reason.

2) Dinosaur and cave people running amok
This is purely fictional, obviously. I decided to bring back the "caveman as class pet" joke from Classroom Blitz and expanded upon it, bringing in other prehistoric creatures. This was also necessary in order to trap the students inside the gym after the mutation happened. It's a good thing the dinosaurs are merely mischievous and only want to play after being frozen for ages! After the events of the game, the whole preshistoric gang would probably start a jazz bar. The caveman would be the bouncer and singer, the cavewoman the bartender, and the dinos would serve drinks and entertain. Hmm... I should draw this at some point!

Festival Fury - Commentary

In this post I'll talk about the fictional and non-fictional events I portrayed in the game.

1) Wrestling competition
We start off with a hand wrestling competition with getting dunked as punishment for losing. There was no official competition at school, but there was sort of an informal one so the dudes who worked hard on their gains had a chance to show 'em off. I decided to take it to ridiculous levels and include a dunk tank. As for why I wear a panda costume... It's a secret. Nah, just kidding. Pandas are cute and they are easy to convey when you only use a limited colour palette (i.e black and white).

2) Haunted house
I mentioned it in this post but to sum it up, at some point we did have a haunted house event for a school carnival thing but some distorted individuals thought I was a mole when I snapped a pic of the haunted house layout. It was dumb. I didn't know what sort of spooks they planned to cook up so I just randomly made up some to put in the game.

3) The Ashrav convention
Of course, this is fictional. But his fangirls' fanaticism is real, VERY real. 
The concept of the S.A.P Award is that to fans, his existence is so divine that people would want an award to prove that they even knew him. These are the ranks for the S.A.P Award:
Gold: Be Ashrav's friend
Silver: Be Ashrav's acquaintance
Bronze: He knows you exist
Plastic: You existed in his vicinity
In reality I'd get the bronze award, but for for plot purposes I mistakenly get the gold one. If you genuinely want this, you're a SAP. If Ashrav had a lover, they'd get a platinum one, probably. LOL.
Ashrav being up for auction and the consequent events are crazy and even I don't know how I came up with that. But one thing I gotta clarify is that Ashrav was wearing a collar as a punk thing and not some weird pet play thing. Honest!

I didn't have any particularly fond memories of high school (it's pretty neutral) but I always think back about how much fun I had making these games. It was fun referencing real life events and adding all sorts of spice to them. Even if nobody cares or nobody gets the jokes, it'll be up for posterity and entertainment's sake.

Classroom Blitz - Commentary

After having fun making Mr. Anderson 1 and 2, I decided to make a full length game detailing more about the funny events in high school. Since it's been years I actually don't really remember everything but luckily I wrote everything down on my old personal blog which I am using as reference. 

1) Ashrav
He has his own dedicated post but to sum it up he was a really popular dude with more than a handful of fangirls. You honestly couldn't tell just looking at him - he's very normal (well, as far as I can tell lol). A few months after senior year started, he had a real boost to his popularity and the Carmen scandal came to light. From my investigations it was all because of cheer practice -  the only time where freshmen, seniors and everyone in between could interact freely. Otherwise, there wasn't any opportunity to get to know each other. Fangirls being fangirls, are very possessive; since nobody was sure which way Ashrav swings even guys are their competition - especially since Ashrav is a "bro" typa guy and is very bromance-y with his bros. LOL. 

2) CJ
He's just some horndog braggart that couldn't stop spouting pervy jokes and whatever achievements he got. Technically dudes like him are a dime a dozen but he got on my hit list once he tried to make fun of me. Strangely enough, Ashrav was the one that stopped him (they're friends/bros). When I say he's a horndog, I really mean it. He was always making sex jokes and one time he made one too many during biology class and the teacher called him cheap for being stimulated so easily. LMAO. Another incident I recall was the math teacher using him as an example for a probability question. It went something like: "Find the probability of CJ getting an STD if he had 100 one night stands" but he just went all: "Doesn't matter, had sex" and "I may have STDs but I've got game". Yuck! When Anderson did the no shirt only hoodie thing he participated since he's an exhibitionist. I overheard a girl call him a stripper and he took it as a compliment.
Nowadays he never takes his shirt off or wear tank tops like he used to because he fell off after high school and now he's fat. LOL. Honestly, an example on why dudes should lean into being, well, lean and not bulky, 'cause if you don't maintain it any fat you gain is gonna be very obvious. Of course, if your lifestyle allows it by all means do whatever you want but life's not gonna be like high school with full of free time to go to the gym so ya gotta take that into account. Goes to show that it was kinda pointless for these guys to invest so much in gym gains in high school... just like how generally things don't matter in high school anyway. But hey, don't get me wrong - they get credit for their dedication and discipline for the sake of gains. Beats being a slob. Too bad they didn't invest effort in other things! But oops! This is a tangent. Back on topic...

Who TF Is Ashrav?

Ashrav is based on a guy who was really popular and had lots of admirers in high school. I actually didn't know this initially since he was quite introverted and never tried to stand out; I only found out through social media. He's a genuinely nice person so he doesn't get the short end of the stick in my games. LOL. That being said, he's just a really normal guy so my depiction of him as a gentleman in jeopardy is for comedic purposes only. He's one of the few characters who's coloured in to emphasize how much he stands out to other people. 
Back then, I was trolling around ask.fm for details of another person (I was on that OSINT grind since my teens, yurrrr) and stumbled upon anons hounding Ashrav's friends for details about him. He's very private so girls were DESPERATE for a crumb of his internal workings. They also were absolutely not shy in announcing their thirst for him. These asks were the inspiration for the fans depicted in the games, some of them word for word. I thought it was funny so I wrote it on my blog at the time. I'll repost it down below.
Oh yeah, you'll see someone whose name starts with C being mentioned a lot. That's Carmen (who you also see in the game). She was a freshman who made her feelings towards Ashrav known not very long after she entered school. It was an open secret! (In fact, this lead to more freshmen knowing about Ashrav and netting him even MORE admirers) Carmen also wrote Wattpad stories and she actually wrote one where the main character was named Carmen and her love interest was named Ash. Subtle, huh? I might share it in the future for a laugh. Other than fangirling, there's nothing really notable about her. I find her immature shenanigans funny, but I don't dislike her or anything.
Anyway, here's the post from my old blog. The asks are from most recent to oldest, so read from bottom to top for images with multiple asks. There are two sections: asks from his friends'  account and Carmen's account. Some parts were edited over with different terms as they were originally local terms that would give away my nationality. By the way, this is just 100% gossip and me showing off how much I dug up so you can skip it. LOL.

Gross Encounters Of The Teacher Kind

My high school was messed up so no surprise that some teachers were, too! Here are some of them.

1) He was the physics teacher. One time in class he was told us he accidentally walked in to a classroom where a girl was changing. "Too bad I didn't have a camera on me, 'cause then I would've snapped photos nonstop", he said. The whole classroom was uncomfortably silent. Months later, he was fired and I heard the reason was for sexual harassment. Gee, what a shock.

2) I forgot what subject he taught but he was also the school photographer. A girl took some selfies and he managed to get her phone and pretended to "thirst" over it. He actually conjured up a gob of saliva and let it drip from his mouth before wiping it. From what I gather, the girl was considered unattractive so he was pretending to thirst over her pics to make fun of her. Why is a teacher doing this, don't ask me. Another time he called over a girl to his desk, and she bent down a little and tucked her hair behind her ear to listen to him. In response to this he made a weird delighted face and looked like he wanted to say something, but refrained. I couldn't figure out why 'til I was way older. Gross. At prom he took pictures of couples getting intimate during the slow dance. It was all up close and personal and everything. I mean, nothing explicit happened but shouldn't the kids have some privacy? He also clearly focused the camera on them too long because they noticed and started making funny faces to ease the awkwardness. What a creep!

Who TF Is Anderson?

Anderson's Instagram bio at the time. I don't need to tell you that he is 100% NOT autistic.

Anderson was an annoying douchebag I saw in school. He was constantly seeking attention by making loud noises (like moaning), interjecting the lesson with unfunny, stupid jokes, and causing havoc throughout the school. He was bold with his stunts as he had many accomplices, including those from other classes. Things they did include stealing a sofa from the teacher's lounge, running around the school without a shirt and only a hoodie, and breaking a classroom door window. I remember one time he took off his shirt and asked everyone (including teachers) to touch his chest. Ew! He did this to the other classes too.
